UNESCO / UNITWIN Ph.D. students Gohar Madoyan and Arevik Azizyan have succeeded in discovering the "Quantum-mechanical Nature of Pain Sensitivity" that opens a new horizon for pain therapy. This work was published in the world-renowned 'World Journal of Pharmaceutical Research', with an Impact Factor of 8,084.

Gohar Madoyan also presented this discovery during UNESCO/UNITWIN NETWORK WEB SEMINAR 2020 (A Virtual Conference) August 6-7, 2020 and got the 2nd prize for the best e-poster presentation.
